HF IMAP Mailbox provides email traffic to any email address worldwide over HF Radio. The HF embedded mailbox acts as an Internet Gateway and provides a seamless portal to and from the Internet and HF radio network.

The embedded mailbox feature provides direct and end to end mail synchronization over HF. No external computers or controllers are required over the LAN or WiFi connection.

Integration with mail users preferred mail application is transparent due to the use of IMAP protocols which allows direct connection to smartphone and tablet mail apps including Exchange, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Gmail via either WiFi or LAN connection.

Remote Control and Configuration Management affords network managers the ability to add/drop nodes using OTAR (over the air re-programming) without having to configure individual stations.

Included in the mailbox radio controller is a user configurable Link Scheduler – for pre-determined and automated mail delivery at set times according to individual network requirements. Additionally the Priority and Emergency Messaging feature allowing immediate delivery of high priority messages over lower priority messages and information.
Based on CLOVER 2000 & CLOVER 2500 waveforms with enhanced data throughput rates, all HF connections are managed fully automatically providing for unattended operation and mail synchronisation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Link Security and Encryption ensure data transfer is possible only between like-coded stations and transmitted data and digitally encrypted.

Additionally, the system allows customer specific and third party data encryption for higher-level data protection requirements. Built in digital encryption, link security and automatic file compression ensures email and other traffic is transferred securely in the shortest possible time frame
(e.g. 160KB .txt file/43 pages of text in as little as 90 seconds).
