The HAL Communications Corp. FXD4100/2K combines the DSP4100/2K DSP Modem and the FAX4100 FAX-Over-Radio interface into a single lightweight aluminum enclosure.
The FXD4100/2K provides FAX image transfer via HF radio communications using a standard G3 FAX machine. The FAX machines function as if they were connected to a wire-line system.
Optional HAL CLOVER Mail software provides remote HF users the ability to send email messages, files, and keyboard chat messages using the HAL FXD4100/2K.
HAL CLOVER-2000 is included with the FXD4100/2K. CLOVER-200 is a 3000 bps, voice bandwidth waveform incorporating a unique ARQ protocol with selective block repeats for digital communications over long distances using HF transceivers.
